- Qoole Video Tutorials

- These video tutorials cover the basics on how to use Qoole to make simple
- Quake maps. They introduce Qoole's user interface as well as
- general Quake map editing topics. These videos provide a very good
- starting point for the beginners to Qoole and Quake map editing.

- The video tutorials however do not cover the detailed topics
- such as map compilation errors. For these questions, please refer
- to the QBSP problem listing from QuakeLab, the Unofficial Quake Map Spec,
- the Quake editing newsgroups, and the Qoole mailing list that are on
- the Qoole CDROM.

- narration, and never once complained about all the recording retakes that
- I kept messing up.

- And many thanks to Kirk Yokomizo, whose computer I "volunteered"
- to be used for the tutorial recording over a period of 2 months.
- The brief spec for the computer was:

- The videos were recorded in 640x480 resolution with modification
- to Qoole's source code to dump screenshots at 10 frames per second.
- The audio tracks were recorded at 22 KHz 16 bits/mono. The software
- programs used in producing these .avi's include LViewPro, Twotrak,
- Main Actor and DDClip Lite.
